Founder and Presenter: Becs Erickson

Becs has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 20 years, the last 13 years with a global organisation that directly improves the health and well-being of children. She also owns her own wellness business teaching Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda (a lifestyle science). Her passion lies with helping others and bringing out the best in people. More recently, Becs has extended her wellness business into the workplace, recognising the same stressors are universal.

“Stress, low immune systems and a lack of quality sleep are the biggest factors I see in the office and when coaching clients," says Becs. "We spend much of our lives at work. In our over-scheduled digital culture, it is important to be thinking about how we can function optimally in the workplace - how we can make our bodies work smarter, not harder. When we take the time to improve our healthy habits in the workplace by integrating small wellbeing practices into our day, it improves our overall happiness. It is also proven to alter the quality of our work.”

The purpose of Wellness @ Work is to inspire and excite employees to lead healthier and happier lives. Each session is ‘hands on’ and is designed to empower and educate by providing simple and healthy habits for body and mind. Attendees learn how to experience deeper rest, more energy, optimal digestion and enjoy a more relaxed approach to life.

Combining ancient wisdom and modern behavioural science, Becs shows you how small, incremental diet or lifestyle changes, make small – and lasting - improvements in your health and well-being.

Becs is described as a great facilitator and coach with a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. She is highly relatable with a trusted and empathetic manner.  Her workshops offer a supportive and interactive learning experience on how to take care of the body.

The Workplace Wellness Series encompasses three workshops focused on all aspects of wellbeing – mental, physical and emotional.

Reviews & Feedback

“We work in a demanding environment where our day to day interactions can be very draining mentally on staff.  The sessions with Becs have provided the team with some great techniques and tools to help us manage that stress. She is a great facilitator, very easy to follow and informative. Becs demystified meditation for us and guided us through a couple of breathing and meditation practices that are achievable for busy people and which many of the team are still using regularly. Thanks so much Becs!”

* Matt Tong, Network Lead – Tairawhiti, Pinnacle Health
